Welcome to Turkmenistan! Arrival at the border checkpoint and meet your guide. After getting the visa, transfer to Dashoguz city for sightseeing and lunch. Shop for the desert BBQ, then drive to the Darvaza gas crater. Travel into the Karakum desert, with dinner in nature and an evening BBQ. Overnight at the yurt houses in the desert.
Breakfast in the desert and drive to Ashgabat. On the way, visit Yerbent village and the water crater. Free time at the hotel, then an evening city tour. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.
Drive to Nisa Fortress, visiting the Spiritual Mosque on the way. Then the Akhal-Teke horse farm and lunch. Continue to Kow-Ata underground lake and Nohur village. After dinner, drive back to Ashgabat. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.
Breakfast at the hotel and a visit to the Carpet Museum. Drive to Mary city and lunch on arrival. Continue to Ancient Merv, then return to the city for an evening Mary city tour. After dinner, transfer to the train station for the overnight Mary–Serhetabat train (23:50–07:44).
Arrive at Tagtabazar railway station in the morning. After breakfast, drive to see the Yekegowak caves. Explore the caves and have lunch, then drive to the Serhetabat border for your departure.
