Day 1

Arrival on Dashoguz/Shabat border (Uzbekistan)

Welcome to Turkmenistan! Arrival at the border checkpoint and meet your guide. After getting the visa, transfer to Dashoguz city. City sightseeing and lunch. Tour to the ancient city of Kunya-Urgench. Overnight at the hotel in Dashoguz.

Day 2

Dashoguz – Darvaza

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Grocery shopping for the desert. Drive to the Darvaza gas crater. Overnight at the yurt houses in the Karakum desert.

Day 3

Darvaza – Ashgabat

Breakfast in the desert and drive to Ashgabat. On the way, visit Yerbent village and the water crater. Free time at the hotel, then an evening city tour. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.

Ashgabat – Koytendag

Early breakfast and transfer to Ashgabat International Airport. Ashgabat–Kerki flight (approx. 10:00–11:00). After arrival, drive to Koytendag. Overnight at a local hostel.

Day 5

Koytendag – Mary

After breakfast, drive to Turkmenabat city. On the way, visit Gaynarbaba Lake. Quick city tour and lunch. Pack dinner and transfer to the train station. Turkmenabat–Mary train (approx. 18:45–01:00). Overnight at the hotel in Mary.

Day 6

Mary – Margush – Mary

Late breakfast and packed lunch. Drive to ancient Margush and back to the city. City tour. Overnight at the hotel in Mary.

Mary – Merv – Ashgabat

Breakfast and drive to Merv. After the tour, return to the city for a late lunch, then drive to Ashgabat. Dinner and accommodation. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.

Ashgabat – Nohur – Ashgabat

Drive to Nisa Fortress, visiting the Spiritual Mosque on the way. Then the Akhal-Teke horse farm and lunch. Continue to Kow-Ata underground lake and Nohur village. After dinner, drive back to Ashgabat. Overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.

Ashgabat
